Here are some news items that may be of interest.

Kohl's Kids Who Care Scholarship Program  Nominations are accepted February 1 - March 15, 2010.  Visit www.kohlskids.com to nominate a deserving young person age 6-18!

Texas Governor's Schools offer varied experiences for students in the summer following their 10th grade year.

Electronic Courses are available through the Texas Virtual School Network.

WISD offers the opportunity to earn college credit while in high in high school.

Home Schooled students are welcome to participate in testing opportunities offered at WISD. 

These include:

      PSAT - offered in mid-October

      Advanced Placement Exam proctoring - offered at semester end
